Returning to The Bear this weekend was an enjoyable experience. The rooms were extremely comfortable and very convenient, being off the outside courtyard. However, they were a bit noisy, with one by the road and the other over the pump room. The room was very clean and nicely appointed, with an excellent mattress.

The hotel's main A4 road location welcomed me with a pleasant walk into town, where the staff were very friendly and easy to talk to. The rooms were comfy and clean.

The hotel rooms were exceptionally large and well-fitted, perfect for our stay with our little dog. The overnight temperature was a bit cool for my liking, but the cleanliness and great views made up for it. The staff was amazing, very friendly, and the food was delightful, especially the breakfast. Can't wait to return! - Fiona & David
