Reviews and Ratings
Returning to The Bear this weekend was an enjoyable experience. The rooms were extremely comfortable and very convenient, being off the outside courtyard. However, they were a bit noisy, with one by the road and the other over the pump room. The room was very clean and nicely appointed, with an excellent mattress.
The hotel had a few drawbacks, but overall, it was a pleasant stay. The rooms were cold and dark, but they were comfy and clean. The service was a mix of flustered moments and warm, helpful interactions. The location was wonderful for exploring, despite some cleanliness issues. The dining experience had its flaws, although the hot dishes were excellent. Overall, the facilities were decent considering the price paid.
The hotel rooms were exceptionally large and well-fitted, perfect for our stay with our little dog. The overnight temperature was a bit cool for my liking, but the cleanliness and great views made up for it. The staff was amazing, very friendly, and the food was delightful, especially the breakfast. Can't wait to return! - Fiona & David
